In the News
I was honored at the end of 2010 to be featured in a article by the Texas Observer titled “Undoing Injustice”. The article focused on my involvement in the case of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was convicted – and executed – based on faulty arson testimony. The article also noted my work on another arson case, as wel l as blood spatter case out Tarrant case. You can find the article here.
The blood spatter case was also the focus of an article in Newsweek that addressed the subject of faulty forensic science used to obtain convictions. The article – Forensics under the Microscope – can be found here.
In conjunction with the release of the final report by the Forensic Science Commission, the Waco Tribune Herald did an article addressing my involvement in the Cameron Todd Willingham case, as well as another case out of McLennan County. The Waco Trib is a subscription service; if you want to see the article please let me know and I’ll get you a copy.
