We are committed to educating our clients, as well as others in the criminal justice system. As a result, our office is involved in producing several different publications. Each addresses a different area of criminal law, and provides useful information for both lawyers and non-lawyers. Understanding Habeas Corpus is a comprehensive, easy-to-understand guide to habeas corpus law. It is a valuable resource for both lawyers who may infrequently handle habeas petitions and inmates pursuing their own cases.

Criminal Law Digest is a summary of recent significant Texas decisions. Also included are decisions from the United States Supreme Court and The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. It is published quarterly by the General Practice Section of the State Bar of Texas.

What You Need to Know About Appeals and Habeas Corpus is a pamphlet on appeals and habeas corpus. It contains basic information on both procedures, and how they operate. This publication is available online by clicking on the link just above.
